Starter Supplies
Below is a list of items we recommend you have on hand BEFORE you bring your new puppy home.
Crate or Kennel
This is a MUST for potty training and crate training your pup. We recommend starting off with a small 22 inch crate at first. You want to have enough room for them to stand up, lay down and be comfortable, but NOT so much room that they can make a potty area in their crate. Once our dogs are grown, they're in a larger sized crate (30-36 inches).

Puppy Food
We recommend and use the following puppy foods:
Diamond Naturals small breed puppy food Blue Buffalo puppy food You can find this at Amazon, Chewy.com, PetsMart, Tractor Supply and sometimes Menards. |
Chew Toys
Chew toys are important for teeth and gums, and puppies are usually chewing on EVERYTHING. We recommend Benebones and Nylabones as they last a long time and the dogs can't break them down and ingest them.
Avoid bones like rawhide or that can be broken down easily, which can lead to choking or obstructions. |
